AASHTO eBookshelf: AASHTO Materials Standards

By far the best way to get current AASHTO Materials Standards from the most recent release of the Standard Specifications for Transportation Materials and Methods of Sampling and Testing, and AASHTO Provisional Standards is to simply use the ASTM Compass database search function. The VDOT Library's subscription provides access to current as well as historical standards. Just follow these instructions below to search for the standard you are looking for:

1. Go to ASTM Compass (note this will require a user name/password)

2. Type the standard you are looking for into the search bar (TIP: use AASHTO standard number designation if you know it or use whatever title/keywords you have on hand to describe the standard).

3. Click on the title of the standard in the results list.
